Areas of Focus
Truly living requires that we bring the fullness of ourselves to life’s journey. In the wake of many of life’s challenging experiences (loss, childhood trauma, heartbreak, difficult relationships), we retreat to survival mode and our joy, contentment and ease, fade to the background. Many of us learned to sacrifice parts of our Selves in order to survive; a brilliant tactic at one point, becomes a hinderance to personal growth and ultimately, thriving. Survival is essential, but it is no way to live a life.
I work with individuals one on one, tailoring the process to each client’s needs and hopes for the future. Together we’ll reflect on the past, develop underutilized strengths and build capacity for greater resiliency, while releasing old patterns that no longer serve you. Sessions allow one to get curious about their long-held patterns and learn techniques that build awareness, generate confidence and reduce stress. All in an effort to better cope with life’s trials:

We will also utilize the wisdom of your nervous system, exchanging depression, anxiety, grief and confusion, for connectedness, calm, self-compassion and clarity. We’ll weave together all parts of your experiences so you may experience life from an integrated, aligned and soulful place.
Therapy is really about changing the external by looking inward. This work will not be done all at once, giving you time to adjust your sails as the winds change. The process is paced and together we uncover, rediscover and co-create.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
