I am an experienced psychotherapist and life coach who practices with empathy, compassion and understanding. I’ve spent my career supporting individuals heal in the wake of trauma, recover from heartache, and manage challenging relationships.
I believe healing is a mind, body and soul approach; one that creates greater emotional awareness, greater understanding of yourself and others and allows you to generate self-compassion.
Sometimes the desire to heal is driven by a desire to make ourselves and life perfect. Seeking perfection is not only unrealistic, it’s unsustainable and harmful. What we really desire is to be free of internal conflict, guilt, shame and the wrath of self-judgment. Our culture tends to focus our attention on what we do wrong and can diminish what we do well. From a position of strength, we will delve into the areas of your life that you desire to understand, explore and shift.
My intention is to support you in creating sustainable peace within yourself by exploring belief systems, strengthening coping skills, making value-based decisions and building confidence. My hope is that our work together will allow you to live from a place of calm assuredness, centeredness and empowerment. This does not remove the challenges in life, the nature of life is to be challenged but your healing work will provide you tools to successfully manage challenges and learn from them.
Healing work is not designed to be done alone, the nature of healing is that it happens with others, whether that is two or twenty or two hundred. Always humans have come together to do the work of healing.
